Deziree and Cory are such a delightful couple, and their daughter Destiny is adorable as they come! I have always enjoyed getting to hang out with them when they are in town, and their wedding was no exception. If you could see me right now, I'm doing my happy dance. =)

After all the girls got their hair done, Destiny was so grateful that she went around the room hugging everyone individually...including me! It was so sweet!

We had a few minutes before Deziree came down for their first sight, so we made the most of it.

My brides are the coolest. My brides do cartwheels at their reception. =)

I had a blast with these two in good ol' Seattle the other day. They graciously drove down from Bellingham just for the session, so I wanted to make sure we missed the scheduled rain that the weather gods predicted. Within minutes of us finishing, as I was driving home, a gianormous rainstorm came! If you are a wedding photographer, and you live in Seattle, you are livin' on the edge baby!
There session was so much fun...I was cracking up during the WWF ones...you'll see what I mean...

I am so proud! I just received the final CD for Cami Bradley: previous bride/client, wickedly talented musician, and friend. I was blown away by her vocal clarity, and the mix of styles in her music. Watch out: she has some serious pipes on her! I loved working on the photo shoot with her, and as always, she's very easy to photograph! You can check out some of her music and order it here. This superbly adorable two-some are Ballard natives. They live in
Ballard, spend their time there, and are getting married there in just
a few months. So, to tie it all together nicely we thought we'd shoot
their engagement pics there as well. It was a good thing too, because
at the end of our time, we swung by their place to get a couple of
shots with their adorable little pooches. Well, not-so-little....as
they are both Great Dane's! Anyhow, can't wait for your big day guys!
And a couple with their babies....
You guys are positively adorable, and I am so grateful that I'm able to shoot your wedding in August!

Last weekend I had the pleasure of shooting a baby/family session with baby-Sutton and her parents Alicia and Wade. She was an adorable bundle of cuteness, and Wade and Alicia were so casual, it made for a very fun saturday afternoon. Here are some of my favorites from the day...

This positively adorable couple is getting married in just a couple of months. So, we set out to take some engagement photos last weekend at their stomping grounds at University of Washington. I think my favorite part of the day was just watching them play together, and let loose! Thanks for hanging out with me on the fun bus. beep, beep.

For all you soon-to-be newlyweds who are wondering why some people do engagement sessions. There are several reasons for doing this. One, is that it's FUN, and you get to relax in front of the camera before your wedding day. Two, you get radtastic photos to keep forever. An three, if you choose, you can make sa-weet save-the-date cards like this....
