Drew + Lam: Wedding

Beautiful couple in love + rainy day = eternal happiness. Good thing for these two. Despite the constant down-pour, their wedding went off without a hitch. Here are some of the details that made their day so special.

The ceremony and reception were held at Sodo Park. They even incorporated this incredible martini tree for drinks.

Bryan + Michelle: Wedding

A couple of weeks ago, I met up with Michelle and Bryan in Snohomish, at Swans Trail Farm. It was so beautiful, and even had several barns that we could explore....major bonus! It was a great honor to take part in their beautiful, kick-your-shoes-off-and-let-your-hair-down day.

Brandon + Meighan: Wedding

A couple of weeks ago, I had the pleasure of consorting with this fun and lively couple, along with their exceptionally fun bridal party. Lucky me! I had such a fun time...Even though I always work my tail off at every wedding, it's always great when it doesn't even feel like work.

Holly + Glen: Engagement

As I'm easing back into my normal work schedule, I am excited at the idea of getting to work with new clients. I had the pleasure of kicking off this season with an engagement session for Holly & Glen, all the way from the UK. It was a lot of fun hanging out with you guys, and with all the volcano craziness, I am so glad you were able to make it back from Europe!

Holly love, love, loves architecture, and since we couldn't give her photos with all the bells n' whistles of European castles, we decided to head over to the UW library, and fake it.

Nothing wrong with a little study break.

The babies are home!

A few people might be wondering what I've been up to lately. I have a good excuse for being a fair-weather blogger...I promise! I've been in the baby-making business. I have to say, I think things have turned out pretty darn good for my first venture. Let me introduce you to the loves of my life (in addition to my amazing husband and baby-daddy, Raif).

Fletcher, Grayson, and Hazel were born on February 2nd. So, that makes today their 1 month birthday. Here are a few snapshots that I took (very quickly) between feedings. Enjoy!

OK, so if we haven't been able to tell you personally, we are expecting. Only, not in the traditional sense. We are actually expecting triplets!! We couldn't be more thrilled, and are counting the days until we get to meet our new family members: two sweet little girls, and a strapping boy.

Thanks to everyone for your support thus far! I will be on maternity leave starting the end of this week, and will be back the end of March. I will be checking email periodically, and updating you all with some photos upon their arrival.

Hannah + Ryan: Wedding

These two Ballard residents stayed local for their nuptials, getting married at the Canal, on the Ballard locks. It was a gorgeous day, and we definitely made the most of it, by exploring the gorgeous gardens.

I love it when couples incorporate their pets into their wedding....and why not? they're family too! Hannah and Ryan had their two Great Dane's in the bridal party. Too cute!

They had two delicious-looking cakes, one of which was made in the shape of a giant Air-Jordan sneaker, just to match the groomsmen shoes. fun!

It was a very laid-back and fun reception, as you can see....

Dede + Jesse: Wedding

These two lovebirds were married in Redmond, and celebrated their reception at De Lilelle Cellars in Woodinville. The venue was stunning, and there were even several sheep on the property. There are some weddings that I attend where the the couples are so in love that it's truly inspiring. This was one of those weddings. Congrats you two!

They wanted one of *those eye shots*. I always aim to please!

We took a little moment to have some fun with the sheep. There were apricots on the ground, and the sheep would "beh-eh-eg" for you to feed them!

Jackie + David: wedding

This adorable and fun-loving couple were married at their family vacation house in amazing Friday Harbor, in the San Juan Islands. Raif and I went here on our first anniversary, and it was as breathtaking as ever. It's definitely a fantastic place to get away, or to get married! Here are a few from Jackie & David's wedding day, starting with a couple of getting ready shots-

One of my favorite moments was at the beginning of the ceremony, when Jackie just couldn't hold it in, and gave her soon-to-be hubby a big smooch. I love that the minister tried to stop her...nice try -

Maria and Alan are some of our absolute favorite people on the planet! So, you can imagine how thrilled we were to share in their wedding day. It was actually held at the same location that Raif and I were married at 4 years ago, so it definitely brought back memories for us. The Langs v.3.0

So, for those loyal blog-fans, you may remember a couple of sessions on the old blog of the newborn Lang twins. Well, they're full on toddlers now, and are ready to have their little sister any day now. Greg and Jackie, (Grakie as we like to call them), are such great friends, and we're so thrilled for them to have another new addition. Congratulations guys!

Deziree + Cory: Wedding

Deziree and Cory are such a delightful couple, and their daughter Destiny is adorable as they come! I have always enjoyed getting to hang out with them when they are in town, and their wedding was no exception. If you could see me right now, I'm doing my happy dance. =)

After all the girls got their hair done, Destiny was so grateful that she went around the room hugging everyone individually...including me! It was so sweet!

I had a blast with these two in good ol' Seattle the other day. They graciously drove down from Bellingham just for the session, so I wanted to make sure we missed the scheduled rain that the weather gods predicted. Within minutes of us finishing, as I was driving home, a gianormous rainstorm came! If you are a wedding photographer, and you live in Seattle, you are livin' on the edge baby!

There session was so much fun...I was cracking up during the WWF ones...you'll see what I mean...

Oh yeah....work it out guys!!

I was dying!!!
